Quarterly and Annual Access to UCLA Recreation facilities, programs, and services is granted WITHOUT membership fee to the following*

Enrolled UCLA and UC Students who have paid the full undergraduate or graduate registration fees for the current quarter. Current Bruin Card photo ID is required for access to facilities and programs.

Quarterly access to UCLA Recreation facilities, programs, and services is granted WITH membership fee to the following* :

UCLA and UC Continuing Students who have completed the previous quarter and are eligible to re-enroll the succeeding quarter. Requires photo ID, verification of attendance, and eligibility to enroll.
New or Re-entering Students who have been accepted by UCLA for the coming quarter. Membership is limited to one quarter prior to enrollment. Letter of acceptance & photo ID required. No fee after Labor Day. Prior to Labor Day, student quarter fee applies (see below).
Research Assistants and Teaching Assistants who are currently registered. If UC student, then the student policies apply; if not, then the UC employee policies apply.
Foreign Exchange Students whose registration fees are paid by them or for them.
Withdrawn UC Students. Official withdrawal paperwork needed for access. Eligible to purchase at student rate one quarter after date withdrawn at Student rate of $35.
Students on a formal Leave of Absence from the department. Verification required and they pay the Student rate of $35 for one quarter.
Summer Session Students who have paid the UCLA Summer Session fee. Good through September 30th, even if enrolled in only one summer session.
Doctoral Candidates who have paid the candidacy filing fee. Candidates who have not paid this fee or are not registered students have no privileges. The continuing student rate is $35 a quarter as long as they have paid their candidacy filing fee (must provide proof of payment).
Post Doctoral Scholars Eligible for recreation memberships as university employees.
Other University Students enrolled at another college or university (current I.D.) are eligible during Summer Quarter Only-- $50. Other affiliate pricing available all other quarters.
Visiting Scholars who have the written sanction of a department director or chairperson (and are neither a bona fide student nor a salaried employee) pay$50 per quarter. Length of stay for Visiting Scholars must be specified. Verification required for both.
Visiting Medical Students (Extern Program) Visiting medical students on campus for 8-week periods. Must have UCLA ID card identifying them as Visiting Medical Student. -- No Fee

UCLA Extension STUDENT (UNEX)

Concurrent Student Extension student who is enrolled in a concurrent (campus) UCLA class listed in the quarterly Schedule of Classes. Verification required. --$35/quarter
Certificate Program Students enrolled in certificate program must show membership ID issued by UNEX. -- $35/quarter
University Extension Students One who has enrolled in an Extension course. Proof of enrollment, a registrar's receipt required to purchase membership during the quarter enrolled. Pay Other Affiliate Rates.
Extension Residential Program, American Language Center Participants enrolled in University Extension residential programs, are issued a voucher card by the program coordinator. Eligible to use facilities. No Fee

* Membership fees for students may vary, depending on affiliation. Annual Memberships for students, their household adults and families coincide with the traditional academic year (9/1 – 6/30). Prices are effective as of September 1, 2004. Additional fees apply for most programmed activities. Access restrictions may apply. Our Fit Center South facility is not available to students or children. Entry to all other UCLA Recreation facilities requires a current Bruin Card or proof of enrollment and photo ID.
